OBJECTIVES

To communicate more effectively with European team members through understanding and acceptance of cultural differences.
To develop effective interpersonal relationships with European team members.
To negotiate successfully with the expected results with a European team member or teams.
To plan, organise and build projects with people understanding and mastering the European way to address time, projects, performance, etc ….
To give feedback (positive or negative) regarding practical work.
To receive feedback, results & reports of inputs effectively from European people.

The diversity and specificity of the European culture(s) through the following:
  • The multiple aspects of the European culture and civilisation.
  • The influence of education, media etc.
  • The impact of history, religion and traditions.
  • The customs and morals.
  • Culture & sub-cultures.
The difference in culture & corporate management & values between English, French, German, Italian people.
The cultural determinants and the conceptual framework to analyse the different aspects of the European culture(s).

The European business world :
  • How to tackle the European market : appropriate behaviours, partnership …
  • Negotiation styles and strategies (British, French, Germans behave differently when doing business).
  • The appropriate strategy to reach agreement: reaching cultural synergy with the European counterparts.
